Recital Expenses

All winning pieces will be performed in a free recital (either live or live-streamed) in NYC. These funds will cover venue and performance-related expenses.

Recording Expenses

All winning composers will receive a studio recording of their piece. These funds will cover recording engineer and venue fees.

Marketing Expenses

Funds for promoting our Call for Scores helps us reach a larger applicant pool of composers. These funds also help us bring a larger audience to our recital, creating more opportunity and exposure for our winning composers.

Join us for our Pop-Up Concerts

Each week in October we will be bringing our previous call for scores winning pieces and music by BIPOC and female composers to parks around NYC as a part of our October fundraiser.

Our Mission:

subtle cheetah brass is an ensemble for the 21st century that aims to promote all genres of music while providing a platform for underrepresented voices to be heard.
